The Grove is a beautiful 86 bed skilled nursing facility located in Columbia, MS. We are conveniently located between Marion General Hospital and our independent living community, Orchard Park. We are also within 30 miles of Hattiesburg, offering easy access to a wide range of medical professionals. Our facility is built on five sprawling acres in the middle of a pecan orchard. From the moment you step on our professionally landscaped and maintained grounds, the clean and attractive campus indicates the high standard of quality that we hold ourselves.

The Grove opened its doors in 1992 when Jack and Becky Bradshaw founded it as a 60-bed long-term care facility with a simple mission: provide compassionate, high-quality care in a family-centered environment. Over the years, we have grown alongside the needs of our community, expanding our capacity to 86 beds and broadening the services we offer. Since becoming Medicare certified in 2005, The Grove has proudly served as a skilled nursing facility providing both long-term care and short-term rehabilitation.

What truly sets The Grove apart is that we are family-owned and personally invested in the care of every resident. While larger corporate-owned facilities can certainly provide quality care, there is something special about a locally owned and operated nursing home. Current owners Michael and Ashley Bradshaw—Michael being the son of founders Jack and Becky—are actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the facility. They interact daily with residents, families, visitors, and staff, ensuring concerns are addressed quickly and personally without layers of corporate management.

Our greatest strength is our team. Many of our employees, including department leaders, have dedicated ten, twenty, and even more than thirty years to serving our residents.
